Limited Warranty / Payment Terms

Warranty

Lighting, Accessory, & Warning Systems offers the following warranty: LAWS covers all workmanship and installs for the life of the vehicle from the original department or customer. LAWS covers all LED products sold direct from LAWS under a 5 year warranty.  In many cases LAWS can replace the item in house but at times parts may need to be sent back to the manufacturer for repair or replacement. Shipping and freight costs are not covered under warranty and are the responsibility of the end user.

Strobe, Halogen Lights, Strobe Supplies all carry a 1 year manufacturer warranty.

All warranties are in force under the following circumstances:

- All parts must have been installed by LAWS in accordance with its intended use and function.  Custom applications and or out of spec uses void both the LAWS warranty and the Manufacturers direct warranty.
- Misuse: Any misuse of a part or install is the sole responsibility of the end user.
- Damage as a result of Vehicle Accident, Mechanical work by third party, may void warranties. 
- Third Party Work: LAWS will on a case by case basis determine if third party work voids the Lifetime warranty. Municipal Mechanic Shops, Private Mechanic Shops and other Up Fit Shop work may void the warranty and should be avoided.

Payment Terms

Payment Terms are NET 20 days from time of billing. Billing begins when the installation begins. Pre-Payment and special Terms are also available. Late charges in the amount of 1.5 % will be assessed on all invoices 15 days past due.
